Five Luminizers That Cost Less Than Fenty Body Lava

Rihanna is at it again with a new Fenty Beauty product. When it comes to music, makeup, and fashion, that Rihanna reign just won't let up.

The Bajan boss refuses to be put in a box - and we love that! Fenty Beauty seriously changed the makeup game. We love that the brand is committed to being diverse with its shade range and models - but Fenty Beauty is not always affordable.

Fenty is dropping Body Lava, its full-body illuminator, on April 6th. But when people found out that it would retail at $59, they were shocked.

We love Fenty Beauty, but $59 for Fenty Body Lava is not accessible for everyone. Here are five alternatives to the latest Fenty drop that won't break the bank.

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess - $32

Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess Summer Glow Illuminator can be used on your cheeks, temple, shoulders, and elsewhere to help you bring out that summer shimmer. You can get it at Sephora.

Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Illuminizing Body Butter - $32

If you want the moisture-locking goodness of Argan oil with your shine, Josie Maran is a good alternative to Fenty Body Lava. Available from QVC and retailing at just $32, you can give your skin a subtle shimmer for a smaller sum.

Prtty Peaushun Skin Tight Body Lotion - $29

Not overly shimmery and not glitter-infused, Pretty Peaushun's Skin Tight Body Lotion may be right for you if you want a simple summery shine. If you'd rather not look like you're on your way to Coachella, this glitter-free lotion will add a gorgeous glow for under $40. Best of all, it comes in a wide range of shades to suit many skin tones! You can get it on Pretty Peaushun's website, where 3oz goes for $29, and 8oz for $39.

Nars Illuminator - $30

Coming in a range of four shades and just $30, Nars Illuminator is another good alternative. Shop the range at Nars' official website or at Sephora to get this light-reflecting goodness.

Kopari Coconut Body Glow - $42

Body glow? Check. Reasonable price? Check. Coconut oil? Check and check. Kopari Coconut Body Glow adds an extra lift to coconut oil to bring a sleek shimmer and hydrating power to your usual moisturising routine. It retails at $42 at Sephora and the Kopari Beauty website.

RiRi we love you, but we don't have to spend $59 to shine bright like a diamond!
