What to expect from September

Goodbye August

Today marks the end of August, a month that has brought us lots of rain in the UK. On the bright side, we’ve received incredible support and great vibes from you all in response to our summer sale! It’s been really special seeing all of the love, and how much you guys appreciate our clothes and personality. Although the world is filled with so much uncertainty, one thing is for sure, we will always continue to do our best to exceed your expectations and bring you fashion that makes you feel like your best selves!

August was also the month that I took a trip to Nigeria to visit our factories. Aside from all the amazing food I ate that reminded me of home, I also checked with our team there making sure everything is running smoothly & in excellent condition.

Hello September

September is all about transition, so no more looking back, let’s look forward! We have a lot in store for you guys that you won’t want to miss. Here’s a sneak peek into what we’ve been planning for you...

We are family!

Our family collection is making its long awaited return! We can’t tell you just how many DMs and comments we’ve received on this and we are happy to share with you what we have been working on. Get ready for new, gorgeous family looks for you and your mini yous.

New fabrics

A lot of your favourite styles will be revamped with new fabrics. We’re constantly looking at how we can improve our offerings and when we discover better suited materials we, of course, want to share that with you all!

Ankara overload

Some of our best selling silhouettes are being remade in gorgeous new ankara prints! They are perfect for the transitional period.

I can’t wait to see more growth as we continue exciting you all with beautiful African fashion. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for being part of our family and helping us to celebrate our heritage on a global scale. The work isn’t done though, we’ve got more heads to turn and hearts to win over, so here’s to the future - our future!

Great to see the Grass-Fields growth. So, so proud of the owners/designers and those awesome models (Love Gina). Hoping that longer length shirts/blouses will be added to the popular crop tops of the last season. A little sad that I couldn’t get a top to cover this ample waistline this summer (lol-oh-lol)! That observation made, onwards and upwards G-F.
